=Method was formed in 2013 by our CEO Dil Wetherill primarily as a functional safety training company. The business quickly grew to take on consultancy work with a focus on best practice engineering. We gradually took on additional consultants wherever we found people who we trusted and who shared our ethos.
Today we are an independent, employee-owned business with specialist practitioners who operate across all areas of the Functional Safety Lifecycle. Our HQ is in Hitchin Hertfordshire with teams in Stirling Scotland, Europe and North America.
=Method is a Companion Company of the Institute of Measurement and Control.

Our advice will be delivered with humility and empathy. We will communicate difficult and potentially unpopular advice where compliance requires this.
We deliver training, mentoring, consultancy and services to support our clients, so that they can take responsibility for their own safety and security.
Our moto is "Do it Right" - by which we mean "be compliant", but we also mean "do it efficiently". All of our work is focused on these two elements.
Method Functional Safety Ltd is part of the Method Safety and Security group. Our entire group shares the same approach to best practice and high-quality people. Our sister companies have their own specialist teams who we work very closely with to provide integrated client support across the lifecycle.
